I have replaced 16 images with new ones.

Some places have 'refreshed' and show the new image, BUT other have not.

I think that the places that have 'refreshed' may be those called by and those where it has not, have been called by the path url.

I have checked the storage/users/yadayada and the image is the correct one there.

I have cleared the cache.

Any ideas why this would be the case?

Yes, you probably guessed - those with the url were missing a piece of the path - although I have no idea how or why as not hand-coded.

Ah well, one less question of mine to answer!

Did you have to change anything to get it working?
Or were the correct paths showing next time you refreshed the page?
Just wondering if perhaps preview was not completely refreshing things ..

I had to add /thumbs/ to the path.

I still can't work out how it 'disappeared' or how I continued to see the images after clearing cache many times in BW and in the browser etc.

I actually had to use another browser (Galeon) to view the site to confirm the issue.

So I am none the wiser
